Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

I understand that participating in fitness activities

at The Fitness Room (including strength & conditioning, mat Pilates, nutrition coaching, and any related class, session, or open-studio use) involves inherent risks - including but not limited to muscle strain, falls, equipment-related injuries, cardiovascular stress, or other injuries. I VOLUNTARILY assume all such risks, whether known or unknown.

I certify that I am in good physical condition, free of any condition that would prevent my safe participation, or have consulted a physician. I agree to inform staff of any health concerns or limitations prior to participating.

Release & Hold Harmless

To the fullest extent permitted by Massachusetts law, I on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, agents and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue.

The Fitness Room, its owners, instructors, employees, agents, contractors, or representatives for any and all claims, damages, costs, losses, or liability arising from my participation, INCLUDING INJURIES OR DAMAGES CAUSED BY ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE of The Fitness Room or its staff.

I also agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Fitness Room and all related parties from any claim, demand, or cause of action brought by me or on my behalf related to my use of the studio, participation in classes, or use of equipment.

Personal Property

I understand that The Fitness Room is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage of my personal property brought to or stored at the facility.

By signing & booking a class, I confirm I have read this Waiver & Consent carefully, understand it fully, and agree to be bound by its terms.


Cancellation & Refund Policy

At The Fitness Room, we aim to provide a supportive and consistent class experience for all clients. The following Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all classes, packages, memberships, workshops, and services booked through our website or Wix Bookings.

1. Class Cancellations by Clients:

  • Group Classes (Mat Pilates, Strength & Conditioning, etc.)

  • Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled class to avoid losing the class credit or being charged a $10 late cancel fee.

  • No-shows are non-refundable and result in the loss of the class credit.

  • Private Sessions: Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance.Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable and will be charged in full. Reschedules will not be subject to this rule.

2. Single-Class/Drop in Purchases:

All single-class/Drop in credits are non-refundable.

Expiration dates will be clearly noted at the time of purchase; unused classes after the expiration date are forfeited. Extensions may be granted at the studio’s discretion for medical or emergency situations with documentation.

3. Memberships: All Memberships are monthly auto renew

Memberships are billed monthly and are non-refundable once charged. To cancel or pause a membership, clients must provide written notice at least 7 days before the next billing date.

Membership pauses may be available for medical or travel reasons; terms vary by membership type.

4. Workshops, Events, and Specialty Programs

Workshops and special events are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by The Fitness Room.

If you cannot attend, you may transfer your spot to another person by contacting us at least 24 hours prior.

5. Studio Cancellations

If The Fitness Room must cancel a class, private session, or event due to:

Instructor illness, Weather-related closures, Emergency situations, Low Enrollment

Clients will receive a full refund or a class credit, depending on preference.

6. Refunds for Products

If The Fitness Room sells retail items (e.g., mats, apparel, equipment):

Unused items in original condition may be returned within 14 days for store credit. Used or damaged items cannot be returned.

7. Medical Exceptions

We understand injuries or medical conditions may arise. With physician documentation, we may provide:

Account freezes, Exceptions on a case-by-case basis

By signing below I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the trems listed above for all The Fitness Room Policies.
